RAP’s popular events are only the most visible sign of our commitment to highlighting the history, architecture and cultural vibrancy of the district. Behind the scenes, numerous committees and hundreds of volunteers work to spread the word about this terrific place we all call home. We’ve introduced some amazing initiatives in the last couple of years, including the exciting Riverside Arts Market, but we’re always looking for new ways to promote the district. Our annual events are:
Now in its fifth year, RAM is bigger, bolder and even better. Every Saturday thru December 18th, from 10 am to 4 pm, more than 160 juried artists showcase the city’s creative side, from handmade pottery, paintings and jewelry, to silk-screened shirts and unique accessories. RAM’s expansive Farmer’s Market features exclusively local produce, as well as artisan breads, gourmet spreads, fresh cheeses and other tasty treats. The Market’s three stages present exceptional live entertainment, from great regional bands to barbershop quartets to bellydancers, magicians, fire-eaters and jugglers. With ample free parking, a beautiful riverfront setting and a family-friendly, community-centric vibe, RAM is your bridge to a better weekend.
